Svakom posjetitelju grada Splita ova knjiga pruža mogućnost isplaniranog razgleda grada u tri dana, odnosno tri cjeline. Prvi je dan rezerviran za obilazak Dioklecijanove palače i starog dijela grada, drugi dan za obilazak sjevernog i istočnog dijela grada, a treći za obilazak zapadnog dijela grada i park-šume Marjan. Svaki dan razgleda podijeljen je na prijepodnevni (9 – 13 h) i poslijepodnevni (15 – 19 h) dio. Razgledi su isplanirani kao pješačke ture uz prijedlog kako iskoristiti vrijeme između 13 i 15 sati (vrijeme okrepe) i nakon 19 sati (vrijeme opuštanja i zabave).

Na početku svakog dana nalazi se plan isplaniranog razgleda s popisom znamenitosti. Redoslijedom kojim su označene na planu razgleda, znamenitosti su opisane u nastavku knjige. Lijeva je stranica namijenjena njihovu opisu, isječku plana s lokacijom, rednom broju s plana i rasporedu fotografija, dok je desna stranica namijenjena fotografijama. Na kraju valja spomenuti da ova knjiga sadržava 128 stranica opisa i fotografija više od 150 znamenitosti i atrakcija grada Splita. Uz ovu knjigu u prodaji je i turistički plan grada Splita, koji sadržava korisne informacije i praktične savjete isključivo za posjetitelje Splita.

Split

This tourist monograph offers each visitor to Split an opportunity to plan the city tour in three days, i.e. three units. The first day is reserved for the tour of Diocletian’s Palace and the Old City, the second for the tour of the northern and eastern parts of the city, and the third for the tour of the western part of the city and the Forest Park Marjan. Each tour day is divided into morning (9 a.m.-1 p.m.) and afternoon (3 p.m.-7 p.m.) sessions. The tours are planned as walking and cycling tours with suggestions on how to spend the time between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (refreshment time) and after 7 p.m. (relaxation and fun time).

The initial section for each day contains the planned tour for that day with the list of sights. The sights are described in the monograph below in the same order in which they are marked in the plan. The left side contains the description of sights, sector of the plan with the location, its ordinal number and photo layout, while the right side contains photographs. Finally, it must be noted that this 128-page monograph contains descriptions and photographs of over 150 sights and attractions of the City of Split. Apart from this monograph, a Tourist Plan of the city of Split can also be purchased, containing useful information and practical advice exclusively for visitors of Split; for you.
