Grad Zadar sa svojom je okolicom poligon za istraživanje i nalazište kulturno-povijesnih, arheoloških, arhitektonskih, prirodnih i gastronomskih vrijednosti. Dio su ovog područja nacionalni park, tri parka prirode, ornitološki rezervati, zaštićeni krajolici i hortikulturni spomenici. Na malom se prostoru ni priroda ni povijest nisu štedjele. Iz istog su podneblja izniknuli i suhozidi i nježna paška čipka, glazbene večeri i Morske orgulje, najljepši zalaz sunca i neobjašnjivi trokut. Ovdje jednako mogu uživati ljubitelji kulture, povjesničari, arheolozi, planinari, biciklisti, gurmani, ufolozi, ronioci, avanturisti .

Svakom posjetitelju Zadarske regije ova turistička monografija pruža mogućnost isplaniranog razgleda regije u četiri dana, odnosno četiri cjeline. Na početku svakog dana nalazi se plan isplaniranog razgleda s popisom znamenitosti. Redoslijedom kojim su označene na planu razgleda, znamenitosti su opisane u nastavku knjige. Lijeva je stranica namijenjena njihovu opisu, isječku plana s lokacijom, rednom broju s plana i rasporedu fotografija, dok je desna stranica namijenjena fotografijama. Zadar Region

The City of Zadar and its surroundings represent the ground for research and various findings of cultural, historical, archeological, architectural, national and gastronomical value. In this region there are: one national park, three nature parks, ornithological reserves, protected landscapes and horticultural monuments. Neither nature nor history limited themselves in this small area. Dry stone walls, the delicate Pag lace, musical evenings and the Sea organ, the most beautiful sunset and the inexplicable triangle all come from the same region. Culture admirers, historians, archeologists, mountain climbers, bicyclists, gourmands, ufologists, divers and adventurers can all equally enjoy visiting the area.

This tourist monograph offers each visitor of Zadar an option of a planned sightseeing tour in four days, i.e. four units. At the beginning of each day there is a plan of the tour with the list of sights. The way they are ordered on the plan is also the way they are described in the monograph. The left page contains description of sights, a cropped plan of the location, its ordinal number and an outline of photographs, whereas the right page contains photographs.
